This
page gives you a chart showing the history of Illnesses and Diseases in
the
UK, we cover from the year 1350 right through to 1950. Of course this
may
not detail the Full History, but we have added all those that we have
researched.
Meaning
of Disease Terms
Here
we have listed many Disease and Illness terms,
together with the basic
interpretation,
you may find these on your ancestors death certificates, and
not
understand the meaning, we do hope that you find this page useful.
Our
Photo Gallery of Headstones
Here
we have made up a photo gallery of headstones, as we have just
started to take photo's of
headstones when we have visited some cemeteries
looking for some of our relatives graves. A lot of these are our
ancestors, but there are some that are
not related to us, I do plan to expand this
area of our site, and we will be adding more photo's over the coming
months.
Photos
- Summerseat Methodist Church Cemetery
There are now 95 photos of the headstones in the old graveyard section
at Rowland's, a must to visit if you have relations buried here.
Please
also try to visit the following highlighted page, where you can see a lovely
small story, which was written by my wife's late mother entitled 'My
Life as a child in the village of Summerseat',
there are also a couple of
photo's
of Summerseat on this page, well worth a visit.
Please
make a visit to this New Web Site

Here
is a Free site that will list Birth, Marriage & Death Certificates
that people have bought in error, I myself have done this in the past,
so somebody suggested to me about how good it would be to have a site
where people could list these certificates, together with contact
details.
I
have designed the site and do hope that many of you will make use of it
and hopefully benefit from it.
